
About the Role
Overview
The Commercial Title & Escrow Coordinator partners with multiple stakeholders to manage and drive the completion of title and escrow transactions. This role is responsible for tracking workflows across searchers and third-party vendors, coordinating multi-site project intake, and ensuring accurate, timely transaction management.
You will review mortgage loan files for accuracy and completeness, obtain outstanding documentation, and support the successful clearance and closing of files. The position also contributes to title production support and settlement preparation, while assisting with ad hoc projects as needed.
Key Responsibilities
Manage incoming requests and correspondence via email, phone, and other channels
Track and maintain workflow across multiple transactions and vendors
Coordinate multi-site project intake and oversee transaction progress
Review and validate mortgage loan file data for accuracy and completeness
Obtain outstanding title documentation and ensure files are fully complete
Maintain and update inventory reports and internal/client systems
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and closing attorneys
Monitor transactions, proactively resolve issues, and escalate complex matters when required
Coordinate and confirm title clearance with providers
Support title production and settlement preparation processes
Skills & Experience
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
Problem-solving mindset with the ability to prioritise effectively
Professional, customer-focused approach at all times
Ability to exercise sound judgment in a fast-paced environment
Familiarity with title/escrow systems or client operating platforms
Qualifications
High school diploma (or equivalent) required
2+ years’ experience in escrow, title, or a curative/lender-related role
Compensation
Hourly rate: up to $27.09
Compensation is based on experience, skillset, and location
